Carmelita Villas is made up of four individual boutique style villas. A tropical oasis located in the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in Playa Hermosa, Puntarenas, on Calle Hermosa.  Our villas are fully self contained and are recognized as a premium quality experience among the best Costa Rica villa rentals available in the Jaco and Playa Hermosa region.

Our location is prime for easy access to renowned attractions such as Manuel Antonio National Park, Marino Ballena National Park, Arenal Volcano, Quepos Marina Pez Vela, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and much more.

Our Villa resort provides a blend of North American and European style boutique property. Carmelita Villas is owned and operated by a Canadian & British couple . The lush setting is big enough to get that touch of luxury, but intimate enough to truly relax in your own space.  The villas consists of three detached, two bedroom, one bathroom layouts and one larger villa consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms overlooking the entire property. All our villas are air conditioned, equipped with granite kitchens and individual private outdoor dining patios.

Soon after the launch of our Bed and Breakfast, enquiries for renting the entire property surpassed our expectations. As a result, we now offer the entire property for family or group booking. Renting the entire property accommodates 16-17 guests. (17 when children under 10 are part of the guest count)

For those booking individual villas, each morning we provide a hot breakfast and fresh fruit served in luxury with white table linens on your private outdoor patio.  In each of our villas you will find our gorgeous Carmelita Villas robes for adult guests. If you are staying with us as a Bed and Breakfast guest, feel free to wear your robe to breakfast.  After all you are having breakfast on your private patio!

We are a 90 minute drive from San Jose Airport on the main state highway. A fifteen minute stroll to the beautiful Playa Hermosa Beach or leass than a five minute drive. Local restaurants and supermarket are a 5 minute drive and the hustle & bustle of, Jaco Puntarenas is 15 mins away. Taxi service is efficient and reasonably priced.
